Create a QR code for a website link, Wi-Fi password, WhatsApp chat, UPI payment, contact card, email, phone number, SMS or plain text. Pick colors, add your logo, and download it as PNG or SVG. Free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no expiry.
A logo hides part of the code, so error correction switches to High automatically.
How to use this QR code generator
- Choose what the QR code should open: a link, Wi-Fi network, WhatsApp chat, UPI payment, contact card and so on.
- Fill in the details. The preview updates as you type.
- Optionally change the colors and style, or add your logo in the middle.
- Scan the preview with your phone camera to test it, then download it as PNG (for WhatsApp, documents and social media) or SVG (for printing and design tools, sharp at any size).
What each QR type does
- URL: opens a website, YouTube video, Google Form, Google Maps location or review link.
- Wi-Fi: guests scan it to join your network without typing the password. Works with the camera on Android and iPhone.
- WhatsApp: opens a chat with your number, optionally with a pre-filled message. Great for shops and small businesses.
- UPI Payment: opens any UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM) with your UPI ID and, optionally, a fixed amount.
- Contact: saves your name, phone, email, company and website to the scanner's contacts (vCard). Perfect for visiting cards.
- Email, Phone and SMS: start an email, a call or a text message with the details already filled in.
Tips for a QR code that always scans
- Keep strong contrast: a dark code on a light background works best. Light codes on dark backgrounds fail on many older phones.
- Don't remove the quiet zone: keep the white border around the code, especially when printing on colored paper.
- Print it large enough: at least 2 x 2 cm for close scanning; for posters, about one tenth of the scanning distance.
- Shorter is better: less data gives a simpler code that scans faster. Use short links where possible.
- Always test before printing with two or three different phones.
FAQ
Do these QR codes expire?
No. These are static QR codes: the information is stored inside the code itself, not on our server. They keep working forever and have no scan limits.
Is it safe to make a Wi-Fi or UPI QR code here?
Yes. The QR code is created by JavaScript in your browser. Your Wi-Fi password, UPI ID and other details are never sent to any server.
Can I change the link after printing the QR code?
Not with a static QR code. If you may need to change the destination later, point the QR code to a page you control (for example your blog or a short link) and update that page instead.
Is a UPI QR code from this tool safe for my shop?
It works with all UPI apps, but always scan it yourself and check that the name and UPI ID shown are correct before displaying it. For a business, the official merchant QR from your bank or payment app also gives you payment alerts and settlement reports.
Can I use the QR codes commercially?
Yes. Use them on visiting cards, menus, flyers, packaging and websites without any attribution.
